Most advisory work arrives too late to change the outcome.

By the time a bank is mandated, the structure is usually set, the counterparty list is drawn, and the terms that matter have already been conceded. We are engaged before that, and we stay after it.

That means corporate development alongside capital formation, and a willingness to say that a transaction should not proceed. It is a narrower business than it could be. We think that is the point.
